About the Franklin County Fair!

The Franklin County Fair was established in 1859. It's a 5-day fair held in the middle of July every year at the Franklin County Convention Center which is located in Hampton, Iowa. The event is organized by the Franklin County Fair Board. Every year, over 50,000 people from around the region visit the fair.

The fair features educational and agricultural events, various competitions and contests, as well as many attractions providing fun for the whole family. People of all ages can enjoy some good clean entertainment, eat amazing first class fair food prepared by local cooks, and view exhibits showing off the local talent across a wide range of fields.
